The Amazing Costa Dorada

May 18, 2011
The Gold Coast

Costa Dorada is also known as the Gold Coast and if you ever decide to visit it, you will immediately understand why people call it like this: the 135 kilometers that stretch from Mataro to Pensicola enjoy a spectacular sun and long, golden and delicate beaches.  Its beaches represent an impressive temptation for those who love the sun, the sand and the water, because they are all fine and bathed by shallow, crystal clear waters. The lands that surround the Dorada Coast are all extremely fertile and are responsible for producing some of the best wines in ferienwohnungen spanien; there are also other cultures, such as the olive groves, the fields covered with almonds hazel nuts or the carobs.

I am sure that you will be impressed and fascinated by the beauty of these landscapes, as the views they offer are simply breathtaking. The natural beauty seems to feel like home in the Costa Dorada, as the coast hosts two natural parks that represent the paradise on earth for those who are nature lovers: the National Park Delta del Ebro and the Tortoda Besserit National Park. The Prados Mountain range is another area with a spectacular power of attraction for those who love nature, so if you are one of them, make sure you don’t miss it!

Other attractions of the coast

The Costa Dorada has a few resorts that deserve your attention, places where I am sure that you will spend a wonderful holiday; take into consideration choosing one of the following: Cambrills, Salou, Mont Roig and Cunit. These are resorts where you will find a little bit of history, a little bit of architecture, customs and traditions, as well as open hearted people, always ready to receive visitors and to meet new people. The Spanish fiestas also seem to feel like home on the Costa Dorada, as there are plenty of them that will entertain you. The 23rd of April Book Day is one of the most famous fiestas held on the coast, a reason for people to get together in order to listen to good music, have a drink and taste a delicious dish!

Accommodation

Many hotels and villas offer good accommodation services, but if you need a recommendation, try the Dorada Palace Hotel or the Villagarcia de Arosa: they are some of the most elegant and exquisite hotels you have ever seen. Enjoy your holiday!
